Open Question: Working for a magazine company ?

I'm a senior at my school, 17 years old... I'd like to work for a magazine when I'm older, like present ideas and even write articles. Since I'm in England I hope to do this at a magazine company in London such as OK, men's health, heat or others. Currently I'm studying law, business and media but I got a B in English in gcse's. So I want to go to university and study journalism but what type of journalist should I become and how can I get some experience in this field? Internships? How do I get an internship?...
